B's bathroom is also the guest bathroom so I wanted to make sure it was not too kiddish.
I LOVE the paint color in here. It is called Shark Loop by Valspar! It is a beautiful grey/blue.
White subway tile -done by my sweet husband! Many long hours working to get all the tile work done in the house!
Scot found these cool square shaped bathroom faucets on clearance. Perfect for something a little more masculine for our boy and saving money in the process!
Continuing with the square shape we found these light fixtures at Lowe's and the square mirror from Kirkland's. The mirror was only $15. You can really save some money when you shop outside the box!
The bathroom cabinet we got a steal of a deal on. You can read about it again here.

I am so happy with the way the white subway tile is looking in the bathrooms! Scot is doing a great job especially for his first time doing a huge tiling project like this!

The Goodness of God (B's vanity take 2)
We bought a vanity on clearance from our favorite home improvement store several months ago. I told you about it here. We had them hold it until we needed it. Unfortunately, there was a mix up and they sold it! Thankfully, they refunded us the $50 we paid for it.
We went back to our favorite store to look for another vanity for B's bathroom. We did not find any on clearance so we were going to just bite the bullet and pay the $169 for a new vanity plus sink. (The other one did not have a sink it was just the vanity.)
The guy who was helping us knew our story and hated what had happened. He offered 10% off this vanity. So that helped a little it was just not the $50 we had paid for the other one!
We went to the front of the store to wait for him to bring the vanity to us so we could pay and be on our merry way. When he got up there, he started smiling. He said you are not gonna believe this, but the only one we have left is the floor model. Scot said no problem will you discount it even more than the 10%? The guy said well it also has a small busted area on the back of the cabinet (which will be against the wall and no one will ever see). He said let me see what I can do for you since it is also "damaged". He talked with the store manager and they sold it to us for $50!!!!
The exact amount we had paid for the other vanity that did not even have a sink with it!
All we can say is GOD IS GOOD! What a blessing that was! We were not out any more money and really came out ahead because we did not have to pay for a sink! WOW...I still can not tell this story without tears streaming down my face. God's goodness is so overwhelming at times!

Rub a dub dub....
the bathtubs are in!
For B's bathroom, they cut a hole in the wall of the living room...I guess this is the norm???? They said it was too hard to go down the hall and make the sharp turn into the bathroom. I won;t question them since they were the ones carrying the HEAVY cast iron tub!
Yes even Scot helped a little :)
Finally set in place.
There were a total of 3 of these tubs, but I am just showing you one of the bathrooms. The master bath will have a soaker tub. That will be installed soon!

B's vanity
We still needed a vanity for B's bathroom. I was hoping for something cheap and did not really care about the color because I plan to paint it. Remember my inspiration picture?
We finally found this one on clearance for $50.00! Regular price....$289.00!
A few days before we had found the white sink and counter for $49 on clearance! So for a total of $99 we bought B's vanity and saved almost $200!

Bathroom Sconces
I was so excited to find these light fixtures on clearance for $8.00 (regularly $35). They are perfect for the kids bathroom, You can hang them with the arm either up or down and the pewter is a perfect match to the chandelier we found.
So thankful for all the great deals going on right now!

Girls Bathroom Cabinet
I was able to find a picture on the L*we's website showing our deal of the day! The bathroom cabinet shown below has been on clearance for the last several weeks. (We know this because Scot has seen it there on his frequent trips to our favorite home improvement store.)
Anyway, on Saturday it was still there so Scot decided to make an offer on it.
He talked with the department manager and offered $75. The guy said how about $100.00?
Scot said SOLD. You see this 5 ft bathroom cabinet regularly sells for $529.00! What a blessing!!!!!

Sinks vs Vanities
I am not sure exactly which vanity/sink I will be choosing, but here are several that I have been looking at on the web.
I am drawn to the darker stained cabinets. ( I love the bathtub in this picture, don't you?)
The girls will need one with double sinks. I like the idea of the open storage on the bottom.
This looks old fashion to me for some reason. Either way, I love the bulkiness of it. Very classic.

Inspiration for B's Bathroom
I am still planning to paint the cabinet this blue color! I just LOVE it!
Decor
Light fixtures
I would even love to find a wooden paddle to hang on the wall!
This is a picture I took over on the coast of Georgia. I may even print and frame it to put in there too.
I have lots of ideas...and I just can't wait to get started!!!!

Master Bath Tub
Doesn't this tub look so relaxing???

The curtains are such an easy thing to add drama, romance and a spa like feel to the bath.

Bathroom Cabinet
I went to an Estate Auction over the weekend and had a BLAST! I got SO much stuff for so little money. (It really pays to stick around to the end of the sale! There are not as many people and they are putting things together to be sold as lots.)
To see more of my goodies, visit here.
When I first arrived, this bathroom cabinet caught my eye. It was in perfect condition. Not only is it a practically brand new cabinet, it is very well built and super heavy. Another words, not a cheap cabinet!

Can you believe that I paid $40 for it!!!!
My cousin, who was with me at the sale, said he recently remodeled his bathroom and bought a cabinet much smaller than this one and paid way more than $40...score!!!!! I did look on the home improvement stores websites to find one similar to see how much it would have cost new. I couldn't find the exact one, but similar ones this size WITHOUT the faucet was in the $300 -$500 range.
Not sure yet which bathroom I will use it in at the new house, but I know I saved A LOT of money and THAT makes me sooo happy!
