We are breaking ground on the new house TOMORROW!

 I can't wait! It has been a long time coming and now it is FINALLY here!  I will show you what all gets accomplished tomorrow night!

Update #3

We should have our closing date THIS WEEK!

Not to worry, we have been busy picking out appliances, flooring, and even paint colors. I will try to show you more of that later on this week!

We got the appraisal is back today! Yeah!

It is just what we had hoped it to be. Now we are waiting for the bank to finish the paperwork so we can get started!

First Draft

We got our first set of plans today and I am super excited!!!!!



There are a few changes, but overall things are heading in the right direction!

First Meeting with the Builder

We met with the builder today. It was so much fun!

This is something that we have dreamed of for a while now and I have been saving ideas just waiting for the time to come...and now it has!!!

I am not sure he was expecting me to bring so many pictures and files and plans, but he was gracious and patiently listened.

We will be meeting with him again after Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see what he has come up with for our dream house!

IDEAS

This is a picture of the way our new house will look - at least something similar to it.

I love the side porch of this house and want it on ours. Not as large, but a small porch for the side entrance.
