The sheetrock was started and finished yesterday! I still can't believe it.

I only snapped a few pictures but really wanted to stay out of their way so they could get it all done! It was a large crew and they worked hard. I think they did an awesome job.

Riding in the House

We have been spending lots of time here at the house. The kids have found all kinds of the things to help pass the time.

M has enjoyed riding her big wheel in the living room and kitchen. Soon she will not be able to do this but for now she sure is enjoying it!

Our House at Sunset

Our views at sunset. Isn't it gorgeous? I love being out here this time of day. It so beautiful and peaceful.

The view from our front porch.

The moon peaking through the trees behind Scot's shop.

The backyard at sunset.

How can you not reflect and be amazed by our Creator when you see and enjoy His handiwork each day?

The Bonfire

We had a bonfire burning off all the little pieces of wood that were no longer needed. It was the kind of bonfire that just screamed roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. So that is just what we did. It was such a great time spent together as a family! We will definitely build a permanent bonfire spot in the back yard so we can have lots of bonfires in the future!

Windows are installed today!

I was able to be out at the house for a little while this morning. While there, I saw them installing the windows! It was so exciting to see them go in :) They are just as beautiful as I thought they would be.

I wanted an old farmhouse style of windows and I really think these fit the bill! Many of the houses in our area that were built in the early 1900's have these windows so they really look authentic!

Here is the house as it looked when I left around lunch. Can't wait to see how it looks at the end of the day!!!!

Day 16

The builders are working double time trying to get the house dried in by tomorrow. They had 2 full crews out there today trying to get as much done as possible before the rain!

Tomorrow they will be installing the windows and doors.

With so much progress today, I REALLY can't wait to see what all gets done tomorrow!!!!
