G wall

Another summer  project completed!!! I created this "G" wall in our foyer. Most of the them came from HL. They are a variety of textures: some are metal, some painted wood, some stained wood, some are flat while others are more of a 3D effect.

In the middle, I put the last family picture we had taken on our front porch at our "old" house.

Foyer Christmas Tree

Can you believe I got this 9  ft pre-lit tree off the side of the road? It was in perfect condition except  for a strand of lights that had some blown bulbs. We replaced those without any problem.

It is perfect for the foyer, don't you think?

Foyer Table

We are having a lot of fun finding good deals to decorate the house with. This table was a great find at TMxx. I put it in the foyer area along with the oval mirror I talked about here. I absolutely love how it is turning out!

Banister Love

There is just something about this banister that I love.

They did a great job decorating it for Christmas too. One of the reasons I am looking forward to having a stair case!

Gallery Wall

I love this gallery wall and especially the lights!

I love how it goes all the way down near the floor. The bench is so simple, yet elegant...I wonder if my sweet hubby could build me one of these??!!

Oval Mirror

I found this beauty at T*Ma*x for only $15.00!

For now, Scot hung it for me over the mantel in our bedroom. I think I will use it in the foyer at the new house.

Ideas for the Foyer

I finally found a picture of the way I want our foyer to be. I love the dark hardwood floors and the shape of the staircase.

In the picture below, I love the black banisters! Not sure if I can convince Scot though....It is different and makes a statement.

I also love this double chair. I hope I can find one for our foyer too!
