Home Tour - E's Room

This is our oldest daughter E's room.  This is the first time in 9 years she does not have to share a room with anyone! She is beyond excited :) She has big plans for the room and I will be sharing that with you soon.

 Here is the chandelierI told you about here. Everyone comments on how pretty the chandeliers are when they come into the girls rooms! I am pleased with how pretty they really are!

 The color is called Swiss Creme. I believe it is an Olympic color. I can verify if someone wants the color code. Just leave me a comment and I will look it up for you.

This is her closet and yes it is pink. She wanted something different so she chose to do it pink just like the younger girls closet :) It is called Chenille Spread BLP 8097. I promise it is MUCH prettier in person!

Don't you just love the pretty little chandelier we got for the girls rooms? I think they are perfect amount of bling for their rooms....can't wait to see them installed!

Inspiration for E's Room

E has known from the beginning that she wants to use the colors brown and lime green in her room. We have been searching for some inspiration to make this a more sophisticated room for my pre-teen!

Check out the lime green bed! It is definitely makes a statement.

She wants lime green walls. I found this on  the PB Teen website it is called Chic Lime by Benjamin Moore

She also likes the idea of a Brown accent wall.

I am not sure yet which way  we will go regarding the paint. I want to wait and see how much light she will be getting through her window.

How cute is this pillow.

We found a light like this one for $5.00. We just need some crystals for it!

She has always wanted a window seat in her room.  This is something that we will plan for and add to her room later.

I like the idea of open shelves with some closed storage on the bottom.

New Lamps for the Girl's Rooms

I found this silver lamp at the GW for $1.29. Can you believe that? I added a $4 lamp shade and now S has the stylish, grown-up lamp she has been wanting!

 E has been wanting a glass lamp for her room. It really does pay to be patient. I could have bought one at tar-jay for $20.00 without a shade, instead I found this cutie for $5.00 (including the shade) at a garage sale!

The purple base does not match her room, but that is an easy fix. We will just spray paint it :)
